...and then we do exciting things like go to Sea World San Diego and hang out with a penguin or three.
My mom's company had their annual picnic here this year, and we were excited to say the least. Last year, Mitch wanted to take me here for the penguin experience on our five year dating anniversary. Despite begging and pleading, he couldn't convince the park staff that we should be able to buy just the experience without paying for admission to the park as well. We ended up having a beautiful day at Balboa Park instead, but he still wanted the chance to take me to see the penguins.
When we found out my moms picnic would be at Sea World, we jumped at the chance and booked the penguin adventure right away.
It was amazing, and we're so glad we had this chance. Despite looking slick and shiny, penguins are very soft, fluffy creatures. And absolutely adorable to boot.
Not too shabby for the Millers.
