We tested out the top layer of our wedding cake before leaving. Sure it's a few days early, but no sense in bringing a stale cake half way across the county. A very special thank you to Marsha for taking the time to wrap it well so it could survive a year in the freezer, and still taste fresh and delicious. And my apologies to my husband for not reminding him that fondant tastes gross before he dared to taste our year old cake. The look on your face was priceless.
We thought bringing the penguins out was a nice touch.
We're about to pass through Baker. We got a later start than I would have liked, but traffic is light and we seem to be making good time, according to my map. Good thing, because 3am will come awfully early tomorrow morning!
