I made a pretty little map in Google to help keep track of the apartment complexes we want to visit, along with what appears to be the most efficient order to visit them in. We narrowed the list of complexes (our current property management company has communities out there, so we can easily move in to a company owned complex and make the transition a tiny bit easier) down to 13, focusing on floor plans, location, price, and most importantly, the ability to have a puppy.
We're also going to take a few hours to do one of our favorite past times- looking at model homes. It'll be interesting to compare Colorado KB Homes to the communities we've visited in Henderson, Las Vegas, and Orange County. They have basements out there!
We're only doing one day of snowboarding this trip, but we know that if and when we move there, we'll have plenty of snowboarding days in our future. We're eager for this trip and the opportunity to get a feel for the lay of the land that we hope to call home one day soon. Providing everything goes according to plan, our Countdown to Moving Day is nearing the double digits.... it's strange to be equally and simultaneously excited and terrified for what the next few months will bring.
